The rooms at Grand Floridian will offer your family modern luxury resort ammenities while making them feel right at home. Disney's Grand Floridian rooms are decorated in a Victorian style with a cheerful color palette.

There are 867 standard rooms and 25 deluxe suites located within the main building and 6 lodges (See Our Map). Each of the lodge buildings are named after the islands of the Florida Keys...Sago Cay, Sugarloaf Key, Conch Key, Boca Chica and Big Pine Key.

Rooms rates at the Grand Floridian start at $540 per night in low season for rooms in one of the outer lodges.  Generally all of the standard room floor plans are fairly much the same throughout the resort. Room prices increase based on preferred room locations. Expect to pay upgraded prices for rooms in the Main building closer to public areas and of course, rooms in specific lodges with views of the Magic Kingdom and evening fireworks.

GRAND FLORIDIAN STANDARD ROOMS...

STANDARD KING - Offers 1 King bed with a sleeper sofa. This room sleeps a family of 4 (plus one infant under the age of 3)

STANDARD DOUBLE - offers TWO queen beds and a day bed will sleep 5 (plus one infant under the age of 3)

GRAND FLORIDIAN DELUXE ROOMS -Most Deluxe category rooms are located in the Main building with prices from $920 per night. There are 15 King rooms that will allow 2 adults only. 9 of these rooms have jetted tubs in the bathrooms and balconies that view the Magic Kingdom. The remaining King rooms are end turret or rounded rooms that have floor to ceiling windows, no balconies, no jetted tubs with views of the resort.  There are also 6 standard deluxe rooms that will sleep 4 that offer views of the pool or beach.

There is one category deluxe room located in the outer buildings and are the turret, end rooms. The price of these rooms starts at about $630 per night and will sleep a family of five. These are larger open floor plan rooms with the sleeper sofa in the turret area.

GRAND FLORIDIAN SUITES

For guests who want or need additional space, luxury and service, there are 25 ONE and TWO bedroom suites. Due so the very distinct architecture of Disney's Grand Floridian, there are 10 distinct floor plans of suites offered.

  • All suite guests can enjoy full club services and amenities
  • These luxury suites offer close to 1000 sq. ft for the one bedrooms up to nearly 2,200 sq. ft for the Presidential Suite.
  • All offer at least two separate bathrooms
  • Private Master Bedroom for parents separated by a door
  • Suite guests enjoy the best views and locations

1 bedroom suite prices start at $1,389 per night while 2 bedroom suites begin at $2,148 per night.  Depending on the specific Floor plan, 1 bedroom suites will sleep from 2-6 people  while two bedroom suites will sleep a maximum of 8 people (Plus infant under 3).

For the ULTIMATE Grand Floridian Disney Fan Experience, consider a stay in either the Grand Floridian's Walt Disney or Roy O. Disney suite. Both are 2 bedroom, 1,700 sq. ft. Suites located on the 4th and 5th floors of the main building accessed by the gold elevators. Roy's room offers a polo theme while Walt's Room reflects his love of trains. DISNEY VACATION CLUB VILLAS...

NOTE*** - May 2013  Disney is currently constructing 147 Disney Vacation Club Villas on the southern edge of the property expected to open in 2014. These new units will consist of studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condo style villas that can be booked by DVC club members.  If these units are not occupied by DVC club members then they are offered for sale to the General public 6 prior to arrival. These additional Grand Floridian units will be the second DVC club building on the monorail system following the Contemporary's Bay Lake Towers.
