Dreams Cancun resort is located a short 15 minute ride from Cancun Airport. This resort is made up of two buildings, the tower and the pyramid buildings. Nestled between these two buildings is a gorgeous salt water lagoon. Part of this lagoon is swimming beach for guest but the rest of this lagoon is home to Dreams Cancun Dolphins. There are 6 Defines (as they say in Spanish) now living in the Dreams Resort lagoon. For those of you who have not yet visited Cancun, a little back ground...the Hotel Zone of Cancun is shaped like a backwards number Seven. Dreams Cancun is ideally positioned in it's own cul de sac right at the "bend" of the seven. It sits right in the heart of Cancun yet it feels like it is a million miles away from civilization. Thanks to it's idyllic position, all of the 379 luxury rooms at Dreams Cancun offer some sort of water view. The resort area is surrounded on three side by ocean. The adult beach at Dreams Cancun offers a breathtaking view of Cancun in the distance. The beach on this side of the resort tends to have a bit rougher surf but there is a reef and a small rocky island that break most of the waves. The main beach shown here is located on the complete opposite side of the resort. It faces towards the island of Isla Mujeres in the distance and offers smoother seas.
