Little Mermaid Story Themed rooms are one of Four Movie Themed Sections of Disney's Art of Animation Resort
If you and your family have stayed in another Value Resort at Walt Disney World, much of this will feel a bit familiar. The Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney Art of Animation Resort are basically a standard Value room.
Actually Disney's Art of Animation resort now has it's own category of being called a Value PLUS Resort. This is because it offers value rates from $118 to $215 per night depending on the time of year you visit AND it offers Story themed rooms that have become so popular in the Moderate and Deluxe Disney Resorts.
The floor plan is identical, although it comes it a bit larger at 277 square feet. The biggest difference here is the room decor. Art of Animation Little Mermaid rooms are themed story rooms that will immerse your kids into Arial's undersea world.
All of the Little Mermaid rooms offer 2 Double Beds or 1 King Bed. They will allow a maximum of 4 people plus one infant under the age of 3. Room ammenities include...

Art of Animation Little Mermaid Rooms offer views of the Courtyard, lake, Pool or Parking Area. We can REQUEST a prefered view for you but this is based on room availability at the time of check in so your request can never be guaranteed.
A Few Considerations for Parents....
- The Little Mermaid Section of Disney's Art of Animation resort is the farthest away from the Food court, main Lobby and Disney Transportation. It is at least a 5 minute walk to get to these areas. Walkways are very stroller friendly but if you are traveling with family members who have mobility issues, consider relocating or a scooter rental.
-Pool Areas here remain busy well into the late hours of the evening. If you are traveling with little ones who have early bedtimes, consider requesting a room that does not face the pool area.
-864 Little Mermaid rooms may seem like a lot but due to popularity, these rooms do sell out quickly, especially for spring break and holiday weeks. Make your reservations FAR in advance to avoid disappointing your little princesses.
-There are NO larger family suites in the Little Mermaid section of the Art of Animation Resort. Family suites that sleep a maximum of 6 guests (plus baby) are found in the Lion King, Finding Nemo and Cars sections of this property.
