Art Of Animation Rooms and Suites
Art Of Animation is the newest Walt Disney World Resort opened in 2012. It is set on 87 acres along Hourglass lake and is just over the bridge from Disney's Pop Century Resort. It's location is closest to Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park. Guests staying here can take WDW bus transportation to all the Disney Parks and attractions.
If you follow the map from left to right, you'll see the different themed sections of Art of Animation. To the far left is the Undersea World of the Little Mermaid. Next is the Lion King area. In the Center is Finding Nemo along with the biggest resort pool in all of Walt Disney World. Last but not least is a recreation of Radiator Springs and the Cars rooms. Animation Hall is the big white area marked 17 which houses the main lobby, food court, shopping and arcade.
The theme of Art of Animation celebrates some of the most beloved Disney films and characters in recent history. It will delight guests of all ages with it's character themed rooms and landscape making you feel like you have walked right into a Disney cartoon. The kid appeal factor here is off the charts while parents will appreciate the many conveniences this resort has to offer families.
One thing to remember here is that when you confirm a room, you guaranteed to be in a specific themed area. Of course this is based upon availability so if your little princess has her heart set on sleeping with Ariel, book early to avoid disappointment. Rooms in all of these areas offer views of either pools, courtyards or parking lots. We can request specific views or room locations within a themed area but these are based on availability and never guaranteed.
