Paradisus La Esmeralda Reviews....
The Paradisus La Esmeralda All inclusive resort is the family friendly side of the Paradisus Playa Del Carmen resort complex. The other half of this large property is the adult only Esmeralda La Perla. Although kids are only allowed on one half of this resort, it is still a very large property. In total there are over 1000 rooms. It if flat, with elevators and stroller friendly but do expect a fair amount of walking here. Public areas like the spa, restaurants, kids club, gym and lobby area sits in between the two resorts. In total there are 14 restaurants here that adults can enjoy. Kids are allowed in 11 of these restaurants.
The Paradisus La Esmeralda is a perfect choice for a destination wedding or extended family reunion. Adults can have plenty of fun and play with the kids in their family and can also escape the noise and energy for romantic adult only space when they choose. Here your family will find a great balance for kids and adults that will keep everyone happy.
The Beach at the Paradisus La Esmeralda sits on a protected cover with a view of Cozumel Island sitting off shore. Just like the resort, the beach is divided in half - The kid friendly beach to the left and the adult only area to the left. The beach here is somewhat separated from the rest of the resort by a fairly large area of jungle and mangroves. You can see this well represented in the ariel photo of the resort in our right margin here. There is a wide wooden boardwalk thru the mangroves so it's easy to navigate.
The Paradisus La Esmeralda offers an excellent blend of chic, adult luxury combined with family friendly amenities and services. The baby and kids club here offer plenty of activity and entertainment for children ages 1 - 12 years old. Combine this with family concierge upgraded services and parent can look forward to being able to relax knowing their kids are well looked after.
If there are any down sides to this resort or considerations parents need to make it would be....
- As far as ocean view rooms, the ocean can be seen far in the distance from these category rooms.
- The combined public areas between both resorts is called "The Zocalo". This is a beautiful area of shallow water gardens complete with goldfish. Albeit beautiful, parents will need to monitor small kids closely or they will be taking an unexpected swim.
