Barcelo Maya Caribe Reviews....

The Barcelo Maya Caribe & Beach are actually 2 of the 5 all inclusive family friendly resorts that make up the huge Barcelo Riviera Maya complex. 

The Barcelo Maya Caribe & Beach Resorts are so similar that many brochures and websites refer to these 1,024 rooms with the singular name of "Barcelo Maya Beach & Caribe". Other websites and travel companies may listed them separately as the Barcelo Maya Beach or the Barcelo Maya Caribe because their features are so identical.

The Barcelo Maya Caribe resort offer the most affordable rooms in this family friendly resort complex. These resorts were recently rennovated with modern room amenities including simmons bedding for a more comfortable night's sleep. 

Another great feature of the Barcelo Maya Caribe & Beach is the fact that they offer family of five friendly rooms. This means they will allow three children under the age of 12 to share the same room with their parents.

Guests here can enjoy over a mile long protected, private white sand beach and expansive daily activity program offering something to interest everyone in the family. In addition, the Barcelo Maya Caribe offers some of the best evening entertainment found in the Riviera Maya. Returning Vacationkids clients always remark how talented the entertainers are here.

If there are any down sides to this resort or considerations parents need to make it would be....

-The Barcelo Maya Caribe & Beach have over 1000 rooms. There are close to 2,500 rooms within the entire complex.  This is a huge complex so expect to do a lot of walking. There are shuttle trains to help transport guests within the complex but do pack comfortable shoes.  We don't recommend this resort for any family members that may have mobility issues. Also it's not that convenient with a stroller.

-The guest room buildings are 3 story walk ups without elevators. We can request rooms on specific floors but we can never guarantee specific room locations. Room assignments are totally up to the discretions of the resort at the time of check in.

-The Beach here offers sandy swimming areas and rocky out croppings that create a home for many species of tropical fish. If you're packing your walking shoes, we suggest you throw a pair of water shoes in your bag too.
