Sandos Riviera Beach Resort and Spa hotel Review...
The Sandos Riviera Beach Resort & Spa forms part of the
Sandos Playacar Beach Resort & Spa complex. Think of the Sandos Riviera Beach like a resort within a resort. It is offers 400 suites located near the enterance of the property. It is the newest section of the complex but it is also the farthest area away from the beach. There is another Sandos hotel, the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort and Spa located on the beach about 20 miles further north for families looking for a more laid back, jungle vibe.

The Sandos Riviera Beach Resort and spa is located in the Playacar resort area which is adjacent to the popular town of Playa Del Carmen. Playacar is a private, residential area with an impressive an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Von Hagge. The Sandos Riviera Beach resort is about a one and a half hour drive south from Cancun airport. Spacious Junior Suites at the Sandos Riviera Beach Resort are family of five friendly with a maximum occupancy of 2 adults and three kids under the age of 12. Junior suite rooms come with either two doubles or one King-size bed. There is a Sitting area with a sleeper sofa and terrace or balcony. Each room has a full private bathroom with toilet, double vanity, hairdryer, Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Other room amenities include

The Sandos Riviera Beach Resort also offers master suites. The master suite contains all the amenities of the junio suite but offers a separate, private living room with sleeper sofa and an additional bathroom.

Young guests staying at the Sandos Riviera Beach resort are welcome to use all the kids club facilities located on the property over at the Sandos Playacar Beach Resort. The Sandos Kids club is open from 10:00am-11:00pm. Children from ages 2-4 years old are welcome to play and join the fun but they must have parent's supervision at all times while in the mini club. Staff supervise children ages 5-7 play inside the children's club for the entire day. Ages 8-12 play outside the children's club under strict supervision in the main pool area, beach areas.
Teens have their own Club Open from 5:00pm-11:00pm for teenagers ages 13 to 17. Table games (tennis table, air hockey, soccer tables, pool tables) video game room and arcade.
