Cruise destination weddings are one of the hottest trends in travel. Couples simply need to decide on a date, their favorite destinations and the style of event they prefer. Couples avoid all the stress of having to deal with reception halls, catering contracts, florists, multiple deposits and all the planning that quickly turns into a full time job.
Passports all come with expiration dates. If you love to travel then at some point, you will need to renew your passport. If your US passport was issued when you were 16 years old or older, then your passport is valid for 10 years. If your US passport was issued when you were 15 years old or younger, your passport is valid for 5 years.
If you plan to fly internationally outside of the U.S. , ALL passengers including infants and children will be requied to present a valid passport at airport check in. Cruise Ships have different requirements but we do HIGHLY recommend all passnegers have a valid passport for any cruise vacation too.
The process of "checking in" for your cruise is called Embarkation. It's a little like checking into a hotel and similar to checking in for a flight. It basically a combination of these two experiences. The difference is, it happens on a massive scale.
