When a hotel or resort room category says it is a "family room" or "family suite" it basically means that room allows children to sleep there with their parents. Beyond that, there are probably as many different meanings to the word "family room" as there are hotels in the world.
If you're seeking the answer to this question online, you're probably sorting through hundreds of millions of answers and suggestions. It's overwhelming! And every time you see photos of another all inclusive vacation option that could be a contender, it looks even more enticing than the last one.
We travel agents get this question a LOT from parents with little ones. Generally the answer to this question is "yes". There are however, several points that you may want to consider when it comes to sleeping like a baby when you're all on vacation together.

As the name implies a "carry on" bag contains the items you'll be carrying with you at all times, whether it's on board an aircraft or onto a cruise ship. (Updated Jan. 2018) When people timidly ask how expensive all inclusive resorts are they are thinking it's probably far beyond their means. More often than not they are often very pleasantly surprised once we walk them thru a bit of comparison shopping. Actually staying at a family all inclusive resort is really an excellent value.
