Christmas at Disney We tend to get caught up in the chaos of Christmas, the shopping, the cards, the decorating, the baking, the parties...it never seems like there is a minute to spare when it comes to getting ready for and celebrating Christmas.  We need to be reminded that the holidays are all about spending time with family and friends and giving to others.  Your kids may not be able to remember what presents they found under the tree last Christmas but they will remember a Christmas vacation to Disney for the rest of their lives. It's really something that each and every family should experience at least once. Chances are, after that it will become a family tradition!

On select nights from November 8 to December 20, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am at Magic Kingdom you could be part of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!  (Please note that you will need to purchase a separate admissions ticket for this event.)  From the parades to the shows, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies, and many other holiday surprises your family and friends are sure to find the spirit of the season.  You can visit Santa at Downtown Disney, check out Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade at Animal Kingdom, see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios, and or delight in traditions of the countries at Epcot.  Perhaps you will even get to experience the Candlelight Processional at Epcot, it will take your breath away!

From November 12, 2013 to January 6, 2014 you could find yourself celebrating in Disneyland, which is absolutely stunning during the holiday season.  Aulani and the Disney Cruise ships are "decked" out as well for the holidays and will include special events to help your family celebrate and enjoy your time together as you create some very special memories during your stay.

If you are looking to enjoy the holidays, but would like to get away from it all and have a relaxing vacation at the same time, you can do that at Disney.  (Yes, Disney is open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, too!)  The resorts are beautifully decorated and who doesn't love a little relaxation and warm weather during the cold weather months.  Treat yourself to a spa day or try something new outside the parks, like the Richard Petty Driving Experience!  (HINT, HINT...these are some great gift ideas for your loved ones!)  Disney can create an In-Room Celebration just for your family!

Even if you are not able to get away in November or December, remember, Disney vacations make really great Christmas gifts!  Toys break, kids outgrown their clothes, but memories can last a lifetime.  Can you imagine gathering your entire extended family and celebrating together in the most magical place on earth, that would be a great gift!

If a Disney vacation is not in the budget this year perhaps we can make this wish come true for next Christmas. To get the Disney Christmas Celebration of your dreams, it's best to plan your trip FAR in advance. Vacationkids can set up affordable, free payment plans to make it easy on your budget. While you're looking forward to your Disney Christmas, we'll send you weekly mousetips to make your holiday even more magical.  We can even help you surprise your kids with a Christmas present they will NEVER forget.
