New Fantasyland|Walt Disney WorldHave you checked out the new Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World?  You'll still find a few of your old favorite rides and some new exciting additions to one of the most magical locations in Walt Disney World!

Fantasyland is located at the rear of Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.  You can head down Main Street, though the gates of Cinderella's Castle and make your way to the rear of the park. To save a few steps, you can hop aboard the Walt Disney World Railroad for a quick train ride to Fantasyland.  You can board the train at Main Street, U.S.A. located just inside the entrance of the park at the top of the stairs.  There are four trains that arrive at each station every 4 to 10 minutes so you never have to wait long.  The trains stop at Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, and Frontierland.  There are no height restrictions!

The New Fantasyland at Walt Disney World Orlando offers 10 acres of new fun. It is one of the largest park expansions in Disney history. Disney has added two more castles as centerpieces to this new area.

When you're in Fantasyland be sure to ride a few of your old favorites.  It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Mad Tea Party, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.  I never miss a ride on Dumbo so I am super excited that there are now two Dumbo rides right next to each other!  Be sure to check out the air-conditioned playground as you wait to board the ride, this is a great addition to Fantasyland, the kids and parents love it!

Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid is one of the new rides in Fantasyland and it is extremely popular.  We waited for an hour the last time we were there, but it was worth it, my girls and I love Ariel.  You board a clamshell to enjoy the sights and sounds straight from the amazing movie we all know and love.  Enchanted Tales with Belle is an interactive storytelling experience that your whole family will enjoy and possibly even be a part of.  A few guests are selected to act out parts with Belle and Lumiere.  You will also be able to visit Princesses at the newly opened Princess Fairytale Hall while you enjoy Fantasyland.

There are plenty of food options for your family to enjoy in Fantasyland.  Be Our Guest Restaurant is new and Cinderella's Royal Table is very popular, but I would much rather enjoy a cinnamon roll from Gaston's Tavern.  If your 3 to 12 year-old would like to be a Princess or a Knight, Vacationkids will gladly set up a reservation for you at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  You'll find plenty of gifts and treats at Big Top Souvenirs.  Although this may seem strange, be sure to check out the rest rooms located by Rapunzel's Tower, you will not want to miss any of the details, they're amazing!

There is still one more ride in the works for 2014.  The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a roller coaster that is sure to become a family favorite. This ride offers all new coaster technology. Riders will be seated in mine train cars that rock back and forth while speeding around all the twists and turns.  I can't wait to board the mine cars and see the Seven Dwarfs!  Until this coaster opens check out The Barnstormer in the Storybook Circus area.  If your family needs to cool off a bit, check out Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station in the same area.  If you don't mind getting a little wet then I highly recommend Mickey's PhilharMagic, I love this show! It's a fun attraction with wonderful music in 3D...A few sprinkles turn the experience into 4D and it's a delight for kids of all ages.

Are you ready to revisit Fantasyland?  What is your favorite ride, show, character, or food option?  Did you pick up on my favorites?
