There are 20 different wonderful Disney Resorts to choose from. The good news is that every single one of these resorts are family friendly and great for kids. The only bad news is, with so many great choices, this may make your decision making a bit more difficult.  So how does your family decide exactly which Disney world to stay at with your kids?

Budget - Walt Disney World Resorts are classified by categories. Resort prices vary according to the time of year you plan to visit the parks.  To give you a basic idea of pricing, Disney Value resorts start around $90 per night, Moderate resorts price at $170 per night and the Deluxe Disney Resorts start at $279 per night.

Our travel agents can work with you to make sure you get the most vacation bang for your buck.  We can help make suggestions about your vacation timing and other options so that your resort choice is perfect for both your family and your bank account.

Convenience - To have a truly enjoyable vacation, you need to make an honest assessment of your family's needs. If you have little ones who still need naps, your vacation will be far more enjoyable if you choose a resort with easy access to the Magic Kingdom.  Chances are, with little ones, you'll be spending a majority of your time there.

By far, the winner as far as convenience is Disney's Polynesian Resort. It offers direct access monorail transportation to both the Magic Kingdon and Epcot.  Families can get back and forth from those parks in minutes making it very convenient for naptimes. This will make your Disney vacation more fun and enjoyable for the entire family.

The Polynesian is considered a Deluxe property so it is pricey to stay here.  If this doesn't fit your budget then we can look at other resort options. For example, renting a car may ease your transportation time to more affordable Value resorts.

If your kids are older, take a poll to find out which parks your kids want to visit most.  For example, if you plan on spending a great deal of time or late nights at Epcot, perhaps consider a stay at the Disney Beach Club Resort which is walking distance to the World Showcase.

Time In Your Room - Obviously the more ammenities you want or need in your Walt Disney World Hotel room, the higher the price tag. If one of the main priorities of your visit is to watch the giraffes from your Animal Kingdom balcony then know you will pay a bit more for this feature.  If you're main priority is to spend as much time as humanly possible enjoying the parks then perhaps where you sleep and shower is of little consequence to you.

Size Of Your Family - The good news here is that Disney offers rooms and villas to fit just about every size family out there.  Even better news, they offer rooms for big families at every price point - Deluxe, Moderate and Value Resorts.

Making the Kids Happy - Each Disney Resort has it's own theme.  The style, decoration and ambiance of the property is based around that them. Whether you're looking for Southern Hospitality, Contemporary Style or an African Jungle, you'll find it at Disney World.  Some Disney Rooms are all about the kids.  For example, Disney's Art of Animation Resort offers four distinct areas with rooms themed after characters from the movies The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Cars.

Chances are once you stay in the park at a Walt Disney World Resort, you'll be hooked.  Then the next time you visit Walt Disney World, the decision will be whether to keep with tradition and stay and the same resort or to enjoy a new Walt Disney World Hotel experience.
