All Inclusive Family VacationsWe LIKE... no we really LOVE all inclusive family vacations! They make a lot of sense for families and actually can save a lot of the of the other cents too.

An all inclusive family vacation is perfect for parents who need a break from decision making. Choosing an all inclusive resort means all of your vacation decisions will be made for you.

GETTING THERE - All inclusive resorts are found primarily in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. This means your family will need to have valid passports to fly there.

We can include flights as part of your package or you can book your own flights.  Many parents would like to use credit card points or airline rewards toward their flights and that's perfectly fine. either way, airlines post their prices, schedules and availability about 330 days in advance. You definitely want to book your flights as far in advance as possible to get the best pricing, not to mention seats all together on the plane.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION- In most cases, roundtrip airport-hotel transportation is included as part of your all inclusive family vacation. This means when you exit the airport, your ride will be waiting to take your family to your resort. No worries about finding a cab, dealing with luggage or driving in a strange place.

Your Room - Room prices at all inclusive family resorts start at $550 per adult per week. A few resorts let kids "stay, play and eat" for free (although they will need to pay taxes of about $30 per week). From here, the sky is really the limit. High end, luxury all inclusive family suites can cost upwards of $4000 per adult and over $2000 for kids. This wide price range means there are plenty of options available to fit the needs and wishes of all sorts of families. There are even plenty of options for families with 3 or more kids including villa style rooms with 1,2 and 3 bedrooms. Be warned, if your family needs on of these bigger spaces book early. Due to their popularity and high demand, these rooms are always the first to go.

Meals & Snacks - With all inclusvie family vacations all of your food is included in the price of your room.  When you get hungry just stop by the buffet or order up whatever you'd like. Eat as much or as little and you like, as often as you need.  All Inclusive resorts will offer a main buffet that usually open breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition there are usually restaurant venues for snacks or quick bits open throughout the day. Normally there are at least a few options for what they call "ala carte" restaurants.  These specialty restaurants are usually themed with ethinic menus and guests can enjoy full waiter service. Again enjoy whatever you like, no bills, no tips.

GRATUITIES -Speaking of tips, with all inclusive family vacations, there are none. There's no reaching into your pocket every time you turn around.

DRINKS - All of your family's drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic are all inclusive in your room price.  Your kids can order up their favorite smoothie and you can enjoy margaritas on the beach. It's all free. In addition, you'll find a mini-fridge in your room filled with bottles water, soda, juices and beer.

CHILD CARE- Yes, that's free too. All Inclusive family resorts have kids club that offer supervised activities for kids. Most are open daily for kids ages 4-12 years old.  Some have extended hours. Others even have baby nurseries and teen programs. yeah, those are free too.

FUN ACTIVITIES - All inclusive family vacations offer plenty of fun activities available for your enjoyment.  Most resorts offer family friendly beaches and expansive pools. Some even have free waterparks. In addition there are non-motorized watersports. This means anything without a motor - sailboats, kayaks, snorkeling or water trampolines. Resorts have entertainment staff that organize everything from beach volleyball games, dance classes, mixology sessions, poolside workouts, language classes, bingo and more. Join as many activities as you'd like or simply relax on the beach under a palapa. The choice is yours.

EVENING ENTERTAINMENT - After a delicious dinner your family can look forward to nightly stage show, cultural gatherings, beach parties, movies under the stars, magicians, fire dancers...you name it.

An all inclusive family vacation makes it easy to have all sorts of fun. Parents can relax knowing the what their vacation costs will be ahead of time instead of sweating the credit card bill after the fact. It makes it  much easier to stay on track with your vacaiton budget while having plenty of choices to try lots of new things.

What Costs Extra? - Things like spa treatments, sightseeing excursions and golf generally cost extra. Private dinner on the beach or a chef's table may have an extra fee associated with it.
