My friend Daniel Scheiman is our sales rep for Azul Resorts by Karisma. I received this great email from him today detailing his recent stay with his own family at their Azul Fives Resort. The Azul Five resort located in the Riviera Maya area of Mexico, just south of Cancun. This property is a unique hybrid of condo style rooms complete with all inclusive ammenities. I think this photo of Daniel's kids speaks volumes of how much they liked this resort (OH so cute kids Daniel!)  As I am a bit new to blogging and not sure how to post all of Daniel's wonderful photos. To get a glimpse of what we're talking about, you'll just have to check out our Vacationkids's page about the Azul Fives Resort to see how incredibly beautiful this place really is. Don't take our word for it, See what Daniel says about it.......

It’s me again, Daniel Scheiman sharing with all of you my latest family Vacation with my wonderful family At Azul Fives Hotel by Karisma….

This time we spent a full weekend at Azul Fives Hotel, which was very convenient to us as we live in Playa del Carmen (hope you do not get jealous) so it was just 5 minutes away from home or well just 35 minutes away from the airport if you are coming from the US, well…..what a Resort! Wow!!!! Specially if you are traveling with a lot of friends or a big Family, just like we Mexicans do all the time, as this Resort features the biggest suites in the entire Riviera Maya, they do have almost 1900 square feet in size with a full kitchen, dining and living room, Jacuzzi and a massive sofa bed that can accommodate 2 children… we did not did that much as it was only me, my wife and two kids, so we had enough space with our one bedroom suite with over 1500 square feet in size, only for ourselves!J

However this property has 3 bedroom suites!!!! That can accommodate up to 8 adults and if they are staying on the penthouse the family can have access to their own private rooftop lounge which is ideal for intimate gatherings of family reunions as it features a whirlpool a King Size day bed an outside dining area and BBQ Grill!

So, the magic here begins from check in as the kids receive their own private check-in the Fisher Price mode with a full menu of all the toys that the Resort has available plus a welcome drink for them, this time it was a Mango smoothie…. and of course champagne for Mom and Dad.

Well what can I say when we got inside our room as a selection of welcome amenities where waiting for us, and not only for Mom and me, but also for the kids as they got a Sweet Tooth Tray full of different chocolates and candies, while we got some ceviche prepared 4 different ways, this is Gourmet Inclusive definetly.

What I love about the Azul Hotels is that they are created in every way to bond familes with all the activities that there are going on in the Resort as well as all the different amenities that the Resort has to offer so it makes an stress free atmosphere where you do not have to worry about anything.

And the best feature that the Resorts have are the staff which are super friendly and accomodating, and will go beyond to please you, that is the true meaning of Gourmet Inclusive because this Resorts offer the best food but also the best service, and we got to experience both as we where celebrating Cintia’s birthday who just turned…… (never say your wifes age if you do not want to get in trouble)…. Anyway she was having a B’day! So we dine in Arezzo which is Gourmet Italian Restaurant with amazing options on the menu such as Carpaccios, Osobuco, Fresh Pastas, Pizzas and of course a vast selection of 16 different Labels of House Wines and an awarded wine list from Wine Spectator  , by the way Cintia, she is half Italian and she got WOWED! She actually said that the Rissoto is the best she has had in her entire life, that is an amazing compliment… well she got a Birthday Cake too which wasa surprise and made of Chocolate Yummy!

The next day we woke up in the morning and spent the entire day at the beach and at the infinity pool which is truly a state of the art with an amazing view of the caribbean ocean, the kids decided to stay all morning at the Fisher Price kids club where they where able to jump and have fun at My Gym Area which is perfect for active kids!  Meanwhile me and Cintia where just chilling out by the pool and by the beach and reconnecting as this property is also very Romantic for couples… of course Jack and Coke join us.

That night we went to Sea Olive where we had an amazing Mediterranean Dinner with such a vast selection of dishes that we decided  to have 5 starters because they where so good!

Later then we went to the Fire Show that was held at the Beach with Professional Fire Dancers, they really can do incredible stunts, the kids love it as it rememer them of Star Wars lightsabers, wich they are true fans of it… just like their Father! J

Our final day in the morning we went for breakfast to Flavours restaurant which has an incedible view of the inner jungle of the Resort, where you can even see monkeys if you get lucky, afterwards we went again to the beach and pool to relax and enjoy and of course to the hammocs by the garden, the kids as always did not wanted to leave, but at the end they accepted, not before promesing them that we will have a future Gourmet Inclusive Experience very soon! So they coould dream awake of new adventures and great food and service!..... Azul Sensatori you are next!

The only thing I can say is that “The Gourmet Inclusive Concept at the Azul Hotels was really created to bond families and they truly do, like no other”!

I have to agree with Daniel, The Azul Fives gives larger families plenty of space that brings families much closer together...and it's family bonding what family vacations are really all about?
