all inclusive kids resortsAll Inclusive Kids Resorts are a busy parent's best friend when it comes to planning a family vacation. These resorts provide a kid friendly atmosphere along with fun activities for every member of the family.

In case you're new to the idea of what an all inclusive kids resort is about, let's recap. Generally, when you make a reservation at one of these places, the price you pay "Includes"...

  • Hotel room - Guest rooms that can range from basic budget accommodations to ultra luxious presidential suites depending on the resort and the budget you've requested.

  • Food - All your meals and snacks are already paid. Kid friendly all inclusive resorts offer children's menus and food choices that will please even the pickiest of eaters. Basic all inclusive properties may just offer a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Luxury properties may offer  several restaurant choices, Michelin star chefs and 24 hour room service.

  • Drinks - All of your drinks are included in the price so bottled water, soft drinks, coffee, tea...even alcohol for the adults. Parents can enjoy a cocktail while kids sip on fruit smoothies. Premium wines and liquors are found at high end properties. Most guest rooms at all inclusive resorts have a mini fridge stocked with water, soft drinks, juices and beer so you won't have to go far if you're thirsty.

  • Entertainment - all inclusive resorts offer daytime activities like beach sports, dance lessons, gym work out session to evening theater, karaoke. scavanger hunts and beach parties.

  • Non-Motorized Water Sports - Sail boats, kayaks, snorkeling gear and boogie board equipment are available for you to use without any rental fees. Some all inclusive kids resorts even offer elaborate waterparks that are free and part of the all inclusve program.

  • Gratuities - Tips are included so you don't have to reach in your pocket every time your family enjoys all the great service

  • Transportation - Most all inclusive family resorts also include roundtrip airpor transportation to get your family from your desintation airport to your hotel and back to the airport on your way home. This transportation is called "transfers" in travel industry lingo. If a particular resort or destination does not offer this as part of their all inclusive program, our agents will let you know and help arrange your transportation so you don't fine yourselves stranded at the airport.

  • Kid Clubs -All Inclusive Kids Resorts offer kids clubs. This is what makes them so kid friendly. Parents know if the kids are happy and entertained then they can relax. These kid clubs are staff supervised areas that offer fun filled activities all day long like games, crafts and sport activities. Most are open from 9am to 5pm but some do offer evening group babysitting activities until 9 or 10pm. Most Kids Clubs are for children ranging in age from 4 - 12 years of age although there are a few resorts that offer free teen programs and even baby clubs.

The two main reason why grown ups LOVE kid friendly all inclusive resorts is because:

  1. Because everything is included into one price, parents know upfront what the total cost of their family vacation will be. They can put their wallets away and relax knowing they don't have to worry about penny pinching during their trip.

  2. All inclusive kids resorts take the stress out of day to day activities while your family is one vacation.  No need to worry about finding good local restaurants, how to get there or what to do all day long. All of these worries have already been taken care of by resort staff. Once again, parents are free to relax and have fun. (When was the last time that happened!)

The good news is there are a ton of these all inclusive kids resorts for families to choose. Most can be found in gorgeous Caribbean and Mexican locations (so all family members will need passports).  Because there are so many different resort choices, parents often get confused trying to figure out the best all inclusive kid resorts for their family.  This is where one of our Vacationkids travel agents can help save time, money and frustration. We know these properties. We've visited most of them so we know all fo their details and features first hand.  We can offer you tips and suggestions that can make your vacation more pleasurable and affordable. When you connect with one of our agents, this is what they will need to know.....

  • The age(s) of your child(ren)?

  • Type of sleeping arrangements your family needs?
