Riviera Maya Mexico Best Family ResortThe Moon  Palace Cancun resort complex is a renown, perennial favorite for families staying in the Sunrise, The Moon and Nizuc sections of this massive property.  The Moon Palace complex is located just 5 miles south of Cancun airport, nestled on 55 lush tropical gardens, a signature golf course, conference facilities and totals 2314 deluxe rooms and suites most with ocean or partial ocean views.  This small resort "city" is surprisingly easy to navigate with trams and carts passing every couple of minutes.

Moon Palace Grand Resort Riviera Maya Family All Inclusive Resort

The Grand at Moon Palace offers families an all inclusive world of bliss. Opened in 2017, it boasts 1,316 lavish rooms and luxury suites. When you step into the lobby you don't feel like you're in Mexico. This resort feels more like a high roller luxury escape from Vegas, Miami or even Europe than it does a Mexican All Inclusive. The hand sculpted, immense chandelier glowing over the main lobby bar is a show stopper.  High end finishes and decor make for an excellent first impression.

The Grand at the Moon Palace Family Suite

One of the signature features of palace resorts is the large, double jacuzzi found in each room.  This tradition is continued at The Grand. Usually these tubs are located in the main living areas. close to the balcony or patio doors so that you can take in the views while sipping wine in your bubble bath.  A large number of the king rooms here connect via a door to a room with two double beds and is sold as a guaranteed family suite  that will accommodate a maximum of 6 family  members.

Some families may prefer to opt for a Grand swim-up suite which, as the name implies offers direct pool access straight from your patio. These suites will accommodate families of 4 but will allow one additional child under the age of 3.

Guests staying at The Grand can enjoy all of the activities and amenities throughout the entire resort complex. Guests staying at Sunrise, Moon 7 Nizuc palaces need to purchase a special day pass to use the facilities at The Grand.

Free WiFi is available throughout this property, including the pool areas and even down on the beach.
