The Paradisus Cancun all inclusive resort can be aptly described by the words "luxury" and "family friendly". All too often, these words aren't found in the same sentence when describing hotels. Formerly known as the Grand Melia Cancun, the Paradisus Cancun has has consistently won the AAA 4 diamond award and is part of Preferred Hotels of the World. It has since undergone an 8 million dollar update to make it even more family friendly.

The Paradisus Cancun is an all suite resort, 686 suites to be exact. First impressions of a resort are so important and the words that come to mind here are "unique" and "beautiful". The Paradisus Cancun is made up of 5 large pyramid style buildings. The property sits directly on one of the most beautiful stretches of Cancun beach. There are tennis courts, a 9 hole golf course and the Nichupte lagoon in it's front yard.

Guests entering the Paradisus cancun are greeted with unusual hanging gardens and lush foliage. Tropical foliage cascades down through the 9 story sunlit pyramid all the way through to Polynesian gardens, palm trees and koi ponds on the ground level. The hanging gardens along with the beachside wedding gazebo are both popular spots for family destination weddings regardless of rain or shine.

Most family friendly hotels offer kids clubs as part of their all inclusive programs. The Paradisus Cancun goes the extra mile. Here they offer a baby care program for infants 1-2 years of age. In addition to baby, kid and teen programs there are family concierges assigned to certain category rooms who are there to insure that families can relax, bond and have fun.

  • The Paradisus Cancun does have a beautiful beach but the waves on this side of Cancun tend to be naturally rough and not good for little swimmers.
