No, this isn't the Hawaiian tropics Tan competition. It's Vacationkids own Mom, Sally Black and
Terry Hoddinott visiting the Club Maeva Tulum. Check out the gorgeous beach. Besides, Sally's tan looks much better from far away ;-)
All kidding aside, The Club Maeva Tulum offers one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mayan Riviera. It is located in Puerto Adventuras which is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Cancun Airport...about 15 minutes south of the Playa Del Carmen resort area. This 300 room resort was formerly known as the Robinson Club Tulum before it was taken over in the Fall of 2003. Previously it was managed by a German hotel company and catered largely to European guests. Now the new management team is catering more to American guests while keeping much of the resorts Old World charm.

The Club Maeva is a great middle of the road resort offering the comforts and amenities of an all inclusive resort with a more relaxed, casual atmosphere. It's perfect for lots of laid back family fun. The resort is surrounded by a nature preserve giving guests the sense of being secluded on a tropical shore. There is one large main pool area and two separate children's pools. There are two restaurants to choose from offering 24 hour food and beverage service. Plaza Yucatan is the main buffet restaurant that serves a variety of International cuisine choices and LaPalapa is the beachside restaurant serving light meals during the day and Mexican Cuisine at night while you stare at the stars and admire the gentle waves.

Rooms at the Club Maeva Tulum are surprisingly spacious and will fit either 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids under the age of 12. All rooms offer 2 double beds, air conditioning and ceiling fans, satellite TV, Mini-bar stocked with bottled water, beer and soft drinks, bathroom with shower and hair dryer. One of the nicest features of the Club Maeva Tulum is that each room offers either a patio or balcony complete with your own private hammock.

There is plenty to do here for the entire family. Non motorized water sports including dayaks, day & night tennis, volleyball, fitness center and even a golf driving range. If you're like Terry, there is plenty of space on the beach to soak up the sun and work on your tan. If you shy from the sun like Sally there are tall windswept palms providing perfect shade.

Kids are considered VIP's at the Club Maeva Tulum. Children 2-12 year old will enjoy the mini club complete with games, sports activities, art projects and plenty of fun to keep them busy all day long when they are not busy on the playground. All of this fun is done under the watchful eyes of the Club Maevamigo Staff
During holdiay travel weeks there is also a teen program offered at Club Maeva.
Teens from 13-17 have their own teen disco and activities to help them make new friends and have fun.
Parent will appreciate the fact that when it comes to pricing, the Club Maeva Tulum says kids under the age of 14 stay, play and eat for FREE when accompanied by two adults. Please know this offer does not apply to peak holiday or spring break travel weeks.
