The Paradisus Riviera Cancun is not located in the main hotel zone of Cancun but in the Riviera Maya. Actually it's located in the town of Puerto Morelos, just 20 minutes south of Cancun airport. The hotel is surrounded by lush tropical mangrove preserve sporting a 5,000 foot long beach. Here the atmosphere is far more laid back. This all inclusive resort offers 500 beautifully appointed suites housed in three story bungalow buildings meant to re-create the ambiance of a Mayan Village. The Paradisus Riviera Cancun has one of the best baby clubs Sally has ever seen. The baby club here is called Club 4 and is for infants and toddlers up to the age of 4. It is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Elena is in charge making sure the littliest guests are happy and comfortable. The rule is everyone must leave their shoes at the door so that the floor is kept clean for toddlers. Here kids will enjoy a comfortable air conditioned play space with all the comforts of home and all sorts of fun toys for play. Elena and her staff organize all sorts of fun activities based on the ages and interests of the children that come to visit her each day.

Next to the infant/toddler play room is a nap room for the children complete with a specially fitted bathroom sized just for kids. The nap room is fitted with TV moniters so little ones are always under the watchful eyes of Elena and her staff. Club 4 even offers parents walkie talkies so that parents can check in to see how their kids are doing without having to leave the beach. There is a rule that parents leaving kids at Club 4 cannot leave the resort property for two days. Elena wants to make sure the kids are perfectly comfortable and content with her and her staff. After that, parents can schedule tours and excursions off resort property leaving their kids at Club 4. Again, it is these caring rules and ensure little ones will be safe and happy.

Meet Fernando! He's the kinda guy that will sweep you right off your feet...literally. Fernando is the dynamo that runs the kids club at the Paradisus Riviera Cancan and from the minute you meet him, you'll know why the kids enjoy spending their days with him. Fernando makes sure kids from ages 5-12 years old have plenty of fun and lots of things to do. He took a "time out" from a close game of water soccer to take this picture with Sally and then it was right back to the action. To be honest, we're not sure who was having the most fun, Fernando or the kids! The kids told Sally everything Fernando had planned for them that day with big smiles and plenty of enthusiasm. To Sally, this kind of excitement is the best kind of review possible of what the kids club at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun is all about. The kids club is open from 9am to 5pm daily scheduled with plenty of age appropriate activities based on the kids. Both Club 4 and the kids club are part of the all inclusive program at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun. Evening or individual babysitting can be arranged 24 hours in advance with concierge for an additional fee.

There are many beautiful, well appointed hotels in the Riviera Maya but a vacation isn't made memorable by pretty surroundings. It's the people, the service and the attention to details that make for memorable vacations and this is what you will find at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun.

As with anything, you get what you pay for. The Paradisus Riviera Cancun is a six star luxury resort and this is reflected in it's prices. Some parents, especially parents needing infant care may want to consider planning their vacations during the slower seasons of May, Sept, October and the beginning of December. These are the times when you'll find the best pricing for this property. But no matter what time of year you visit, we're sure you'll want to return time and again to the Paradisus Riviera Cancun like many of our vacationkids families.
