At Vacationkids, we often get requests from family groups looking to spend quality time together. They ask for personal privacy but want group togetherness space. As travel agents, we're often challenged by the rules and limitation of resorts. Families want adjoining rooms but resorts will not guarantee the location of rooms. One family might have two teenagers over the age of 12 and many resorts will not allow 4 "adults" to share the same room. Another family in the group might have
3 or 4 kids. These issues challenge hotel occupancy rates and regulations. Other families like the idea of a villa stay but perhaps don't want to cook or would prefer all inclusive options.

Villa Carola is set on the idyllic white sand beach of Bahia Petempich located 20 minutes south of Cancun airport in the Riviera Maya. It is situated perfectly between all the activities of Cancun's hotel zone and all the sight seeing options of the Riviera Maya. Azul Beach Hotel, the luxury, boutique resort for families. Families staying at Azul Villa Carola can enjoy a private, traditional villa style vacation OR they can elect to use the all inclusive amenities available to guests at the Azul Beach Hotel right next store...but more details on this later.
First, Vacationkids Sally Black would like to introduce you to one of the most important features of Villa Carola...your very own majordomo Manuel. A majordomo is the person responsible for the management of the villa and serves as caretaker. Manuel lives in a completely separate apartment, steps away, just inside the main gate. He is available 24 hours a day as your personal concierge. Upon arrival, Manuel will greet you with champagne, cool, scented towels and offer you a radio/phone so that you can contact him 24/7 for anything you or your family might need. Now, off we go on the grand tour...

First stop, the beach and Bahia Petempich is a beauty. This area has long been the secret playground of many rock stars and celebrities. Your family will enjoy fine white sand and play in clear, azure blue waters. Mother nature has made the seas here a bit grassy with seaweed. This is a sign of the areas strong and healthy ecology. Swimming areas are cleared and staff clean any grass that washes ashore daily. The grass is home to many tropical fish and provide a perfect nursery for the baby sea turtles that hatch along this beach every fall. King size beach beds offer a shady retreat from the sun. It's the perfect spot to play in the sun or relax and do nothing at all.

Next stop on our grand tour is the pool...it's HUGE! Plenty of splash space for kids, in laws, outlaws and whom every you invite along on vacation. Comfortable lounges, sunny spots, shady spots, BBQ grill, patio tables, everything your family needs...just toss in some fun. Water toys, floats, darts, Wii, board games, volleyball, soccer, frisbees, badminton, water guns, DVD library and ping pong all for everyone to use. Take note of the above photo with Manuel...there is a huge wrap around porch with outdoor lounges and plenty of shade downstairs. Upstairs there is yet another huge veranda that offers breathtaking ocean views, especially at sunset.

Villa Carola has a great floor plan for family gatherings. The villa is two stories (no elevator). Each floor has a central living/dinning area, kitchen, porch and 3 bedrooms. The center great room offers plenty of comfortable seating. At night two children can sleep on these great room sofas very comfortably. Basic rental of Villa Carola comes with daily maid service. |

The great rooms have large flat screen cable and satellite TVs as well as an large dinning room table for 12.
The entire villa offers wireless internet.
Have you got a hungry crowd...Villa Carola has THREE kitchens. Downstairs is a large, gourmet kitchen with granite counters, cherry cabinets and everything a chef could need.

Upstairs is a smaller service kitchen with breakfast bar and there is even an outdoor kitchen...complete with a wood fired oven for gourmet pizzas and artisan breads.

Next stop on our tour of Villa Carola are the bedrooms...There are 6 total...all of which offer ocean views. All bedrooms come with king size beds. Rollaway beds can be brought in for children. There are 2 deluxe bedrooms

Deluxe bedrooms come complete with a private marble and mahogany bathroom with a single sink, rain forest shower, water closet toilet and all the bath amenities found in resort bathrooms.
...OH, if you have any babies or toddlers, your majordomo Manuel will outfit your room with everything they could possibly need to feel right at home - stroller, crib, changing table, baby bath, bottle sterilizers, baby step stools - even baby size robes! |

There are also 2 classic bedrooms (one up and one downstairs) offering 361 square feet of the same casual elegance, ocean views with terrace or balcony and similar marble bathrooms. These bathrooms are also accessible from the main living room areas so they are considered to be semi private. While we're on the topic of cleaning up, there is also a self serve laundry complete with washer, dryer, ironing board and detergent. |

Admittedly, we've saved the best for last...there are 2 master bedrooms, again one upstairs and one downstairs. They are 899 square feet and basically take up one whole side of the villa. They come complete with a private lounge area with double sofa and walk in closets. |

You could get lost in the master bath it's so large. The Villa Carola Master suites offer TWO jacuzzi tubs...one indoors in the master bath that comes complete with an overhead rain forest shower. |

The second jacuzzi is found just outside your door on your terrace or balcony. |

PRICES
Villa rental rules are a little different than booking a regular hotel room so we will do our best to explain. First, you have to rent the ENTIRE villa. We can't just rent you one room or one floor.
Rental costs - INCLUDING ALL TAXES AND SERVICE FEES
High Season rates from December 15 until April 30
$4,025.00 USD per night
7 night minimum stay required during high season
General rates from April 30 until December 15
$2,645.00 USD per night
4 night minimum stay required during the general season
Now, if you are a rock star, you can afford to simply rent the entire villa all by yourself. If you're not a rock star, a little bit or math will show you how affordable it can be for your family to still party like one...
The nightly villa rate is based on 10 adults...The additional 2 adults and 8 children that the villa will accommodate pay $50 per night....so for a full house, 12 adults and 8 kids for a minimum stay of 4 nights prices out to be about $915 per adult and $200 per child at Villa Carola. |

Your family has several different dining and vacation package options...
EP PLAN - Villa rental rates do not include food, meals or food preparation.
If your family enjoys spending time together in the kitchen you can opt to cook yourself. For a $100 fee plus the cost of food, Manuel will gladly have your kitchen completely stocked and ready for your arrival. He will do all the shopping according to the list you provide him in advance and you can do the rest. This is more convenient and economical than renting a car and shopping for a crowd yourself.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS PACKAGE - Additional $345.00 per group of 10 plus $15 per person per day for additional guests
- 3 meals daily for your group prepared by a private chef
-Personal group planner to arrange activities and tours (fee)
-Private Nanny 8hrs/day up to 4 children
