El Cozumeleno is an elegant 4 star resort offers guests 252 oversized rooms in two tower buildings. The North tower is the original tower and these rooms tend to be a bit larger than those of the south tower building. It's recently remodeled rooms are more family friendly and the resorts's architectural design means most rooms offer ocean views.

Again, when it comes to rooms, oversize is an understatement. Families will have plenty of room to relax at El Cozumeleno Resort. The light, airy decor surrounds you in tropical style.
All rooms include satellite television, air conditioning, telephone and mini fridge. Each room has it's own private balcony where your family can enjoy and gentle sea breezes and watch the breathtaking sunsets. Generally speaking kids under 12 stay free when accompanied by an adult. Please know restrictions apply to this rule so don't expect freebies during peak holiday travel weeks. Of course kids still have to paid for their airfare to get here unless you're family has enough of their own frequent flyer miles. When two adults travel with 2 kids under 12 then both kids stay free. With families of 5, two kids stay free and the third child pays a children's rate.
North Tower Deluxe rooms are perfect for families of four. They offer a king bed and fold out sofa for the kids. These are suite sized rooms with an ocean view, but there is no division between the room and sitting are area.
Ocean view Rooms in both the North and South tower offer either one king or 2 double beds. There is also a fold out sofa for the kids but again there is no room division, it is one large room .These rooms will allow either 4 adults OR 2 adults with a maximum of 3 children under the age of 12.

El Cozumeleno Resorts offers one of the most spectacular freeform pools in the island, unique design and connected by small waterfalls. There is a large pool that flows into and indoor pool area which is covered by a dome. There is also a second outdoor pool adjacent to a mini golf course for kids. Snorkeling lessons, intro to Scuba lessons, bicycle tours, Kayaking, windsurfing, aerobics, game room, tennis, mini golf and volleyball are all part of the all inclusive program. Dive tours, Deep sea fishing, Jet skies and Parasailing are all available for an additional cost at the Resort's on site dive shop.

El Cocal Restaurant offers an extraordinary view of the Caribbean while enjoying delicious buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. La Veranda offers an elegant dining experience, featuring gourmet a la carte cuisine from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Las Bananas Snack Bar serves relaxing pool side fare throughout the day, with a choice of both national and international brand drinks. And if you don't want to leave your room, room service is available during mealtime from 7am until 10pm. If you're a night owl, there's always Donatello's Disco and Karaoke bar where you can dance and have fun till 1am.

Children can create memories of their own at the professionally staffed Kid's Camp, offering games and activities designed especially for them. El Cozumeleno's supervised children`s program is available for kids between the ages of 5 and 12, and is available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you have younger children or if you want evening child care, babysitters can be arranged thru concierge at the resort for a fee starting at $7.00 USD per hour.
