CRAFT CAMP...
AGES - The Handwork Studio Craft camp is open to girls and boys ages 5-14 years of age. Age appropriate projects will be offered that will be suitable for either boys or girls
CAMP ITINERARY - Each child will receive 20 hours of group Handwork instructions including such fun activities as Sunrise knitting on the beach, Parent/Child craft hour. Classes will be divided into 4 sessions allowing for plenty of family together time as well as a meet & greet evening reception and fashion show finale.

SKILLS LEARNED - Knitting, Embroidery, Hand and Machine Sewing
PROJECTS - will focus on regional Mexican culture and local native needlearts.
For Girls - Bathing suit cover-ups, decorated flip flops, embellished beach totes and shorts
For Boys - Beach back back, shorts and tee shirt design.

Camp Price -The cost is $225 per participating child which includes class fees and supplies. Registration forms and credit card payments will be made directly to The Handwork Studio. Price includes a gift bags for all campers to keep included knitting needles, yarn, embroidery needles and threads.

LAND TRAVEL PRICES - Again these are LAND ONLY prices are based on per person rates and include airport transportation in Mexico, all meals, drinks, hotel entertainment, non-motorized water sports, tips and taxes. Families can make their own flight arrangements, use their frequent flyer miles or Vacationkids can provide your family's airfare for an additional fee.
All rooms at Sunscape Puerto Aventuras follow the same basic floor plan and offer the same room ammenities.
All Rooms at Sunscape Puerto Aventuras Resort have a water view, whether it's an ocean view or view of the boats in the marina. The resort's evening activities usually take place on the beach so the Marina rooms tend to be quieter for young children who have earlier bedtimes. Pricing differences reflect the location of your room. Superior rooms are located on lower floors so they offer less of a view. Deluxe rooms are located on higher floors offering better views and higher prices...

At the Sunscape Puerto Adventuras resort children under age 3 just pay taxes of $42.00 and cribs are available upon request. Children age 3-12 pay children's rates. Kids age 13 and older are considered adults and do pay adult rates.

IMPORTANT - NEED TO KNOW FACTS...
Group travel arrangements for this trip will be made thru Apple Vacations. Children of families registered to travel specifically with this group and have paid their registration fees to The Handwork Studio will be allowed to participate in craft camp activities.
Kid's Craft Camp at Sunscape Puerto Aventuras will be held the week of July 12-19, 2008 ONLY. Limited space has been held and there is a minimum required for special group rates. If you are interested in joining us, do not procrastinate. Any additional space will be based on availability and sold at current prices.
Advertised travel prices are based on per person, LAND ONLY double occupancy rates and inclued taxes and fees. Airfares can be quoted and added for an additional rate. A limited number of non-stop Charter airline seats have been held for Philadelphia families can be purchased for an additional $677.44 per passenger -this price includes departure taxes and airport fees.
A $300.00 per person credit card deposit is required to confirm your reservation along with sign authorization forms. Final payment for the Kid's Craft Camp will be due on or before May 1st, 2008. Separate craft camp registration of $225 per participating child must be paid directly to The Handwork Studio.
Vacationkids.com HIGLY recommends that all families obtain TRAVEL INSURANCE to affored them peace of mind while traveling and to protect their vacation investment. Group travel insurance offered through Tour Guard is available at a price of $69 per passenger paid at the time of initial deposit. This insurance is only applicable for cancellations due to proven medican conditions.
All US travelers visiting the Mexico must have a valid US passport. It is the responsibility of all travelers to obtain a passport and carry it with them at all times during their trip overseas. For security reasons, all airline tickets and hotel reservations must exactly match the legal name listed on a traveler's valid passport. Name changes can result in additional fees and penalties. Failure to produce a valid US passport at the time of departure can result in denied boarding. This means you will not be allowed to board the aircraft and be allowed to travel. Denied boarding is not covered by travel insurance.
