All of our agents here at Vacationkids have our favorite travel spots. For Vacationkids founder Sally Black, her favorite spot is Scotland. As you can see from this photo, she's explored many nooks of this beautiful country. This often surprises people when Sally tells them how much she loves Scotland but then again, many important folks agree with her. Madona and Price Charles both honeymooned there recently. OK, so the Prince does have his own castle in Scotland but this doesn't mean that you're family can't find a castle of their own to call home for a few days. Or perhaps you'd like us to arrange a tour of Harry Potter sites...or a day out monster hunting up in Loch Ness. Scotland is also a great choice for an active eco adventure hiking or pony trekking through breath taking scenery in the Highlands.

What ever your type of holiday, Vacationkids can help arrange the ideal vacation for your family in Scotland. Vacationkids can arrange escorted tours where you're part in the company of a larger group of travelers under the watchful eye of a trained guide. Families should know that most hotel rooms in Scotland will only accommodate two people. It's rare that we can get a triple or quad room so keep this in mind when making your travel plans. For more adventurous families who aren't afraid of "driving on the wrong side of the road" we highly suggest doing Scotland your own way by renting a cottage and doing your own thing. Cottages are great as they are economical and offer multiple bedrooms so that families can stay together.

Sally has traveled throughout Scotland many times and calls it her home away from home. She's also a certified Scotland specialist and glad to help your family plan a custom made vacation. Find out for yourselves why Scotland is one of the best kept secrets of Europe!
