minutes from the LaRomana airport. Families can also fly into Punta Cana airport, taking advantage of direct charter flights offered from
many US cities. When flying into Punta Cana Airport, it takes about 1 hour to reach this resort.
At the All-Inclusive Santana Beach Resort you can walk along the white sandy beach, relax by the magnificent pool, or just lie in the
sun to get a tan while you sip on a "piņa colada".
There is also plenty for your family to do nearby this resort. You can go horseback-riding, dive in the crystal-clear waters of the
incredible island called Isla Catalina, discovering its unique underwater beauty, re-live history on a tour of the colonial city of
Santo Domingo or have a great time shopping at the Dominican Village or visit the renown artist colony at Los Altos de Chavon.

The Santana Beach Resort is a family of five friendly resort so two adults and three kids can share the same room.
Better yet, this Santana Beach Resort will allow up to five adults to share the same room making it convenient for
families with teens to still stay together.
The Santana Beach Resort offers families spacious and comfortable Junior Suites, most with excellent
views. Suites are arranged in two-story buildings surrounded by tropical gardens. These JR suites are one large room
that offer 2 queen size beds, sofa bed with lounge area, air conditioning and ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone in room and bath,
mini-bar, private terrace, wall safe, full bath with deluxe finishes, hair-dryer,
wall safe, full bath with deluxe features.
For larger families or for families who want a bit of privacy the Santana Beach Resort offers family suites which
offer 1 queen size bed in the bedroom, double size sofa bed with an added drawer bed, 2 satellite TV's
in each room, separate living/children's area. As you can see from the photograph here, the
rooms are divided by a curtain. This room will accomodate families with four children making it family of six friendly.
Your family will find PLENTY to do at the Santana Beach resort. The All inclusive program here includes non
motorized water sports, introductory scuba lesson in pool,
daytime tennis and paddle tennis, use of fitness center, billiards, table tennis,
use of bicycles, language lessons, daily activities and nightly entertainment including a disco and casino for adults. You'll
enjoy an immense crystal blue free form pool not to mention
the fabulous beach.
The Santana Beach resort offers something for every member of the family. There are plenty of activities for
grown ups and kids to enjoy together. There is also a nice blend of adult activites like the on site casino and
disco for when grown ups want some "alone time" .
The Santana Beach resort also offers a mini club and supervised children's activities from
ages 4-10. Sandcastle building, sports games, competitions and arts and craft projects are organized according to
age and ability under the caring supervision of the staff. The mini club is open daily from 10am - 6pm daily. Private
babysitting can be arranged at the hotel thru the conceirge. This service is an additional fee but it will allow parents free
time to enjoy their evenings. There is also a lovely playground area for kids just off to the side of
the main pool area.
Another fact is certain, when it comes to family vacations at Santana Beach resort, no body goes hungry. You're family will enjoy their fill
eating three meals daily as well as snacks to keep up their energy for fun. You can choose from that main buffet restaurant that service a wide
variety of tempting foods or select one of the four Ala carte restaurants...
EL PESCADOR, beach restaurant, you can dine on fresh fish and shellfish while watching an unforgettable sunset. MARIACHI offers Mexican specialties,
NAPOLI, sophisticated Italian fare
TAMARINDO, features international Asian cuisine. Also enjoy the five bars serving a large
assortment of Domestic drinks, beer and non alcoholic beverages.
At the end of the day, the only bad part about a family vacation to the Santana Beach resort is the thought that you'll eventually have to
