Curacao is the Dutch Gem of the Southern Caribbean located just off the shores of Venezuala. Breezes Curacao is part of famed Superclubs resort chain and is the first super all inclusive resort in the Southern Caribbean. This resort is a 15 minute drive from the airport located adjacent to the Undersea National park and Sea Aquarium making it a diver's paradise.

One question we get asked time and again at vacationkids is how long does it take to fly here. Obviously families with small children are concerned about this. In most cases it's about 5 hours fly time from the East coast of the US and about 8 hours fly time from the West coast. Generally it's a 90 minute flight from Montego Bay Jamaica where most flights from the states connect. It does take a bit of traveling to get to Curacao but it is well worth the effort. Another great perk is that Curacao along with Aruba and Bonaire are out of limits for hurricanes so you're generally safe from storms and rainy seasons.

Breezes Curacao offers it's own 1500 foot private white sandy beach with crystal caribbean waters. Here your family can enjoy wonderful accommodations, three delicious restaurants including Pastafari for Italian fare, Jimmy's buffet for continental and Island cuisine and Munahana Japanese restaurant for a taste of the orient. In addition there is a beachside grill and a children's snack bar.

Breezes Curacao has every imaginable activity for your family to enjoy like non motorized water sports, tennis courts, fitness room, 3 swimming pools, Jacuzzi, spa services and nearby golf. The resort boasts its very own casino with slot machines, Black Jack, Poker, Roulette and craps tables. There are nightly shows, karoake and entertainment. If this isn't enough how about a rock climbing wall, Circus camp, sumo wrestling, bouncy boxing and one shore scuba dive included daily as part of the all inclusive program. Just to top things off, there is even a synthetic outdoor ice skating rink just in case you have a few minutes of free time.

For families who want to explore the deep, blue sea, Breezes Curacao is the perfect destination. Snorkeling is abundant just off shore and even young children can have fun finding Nemo right at their feet. World class scuba with free basic instruction, one shore dive per day is included in an underwater park, adjacent to the resort. Just off the shore of the resort is a famous dive site called the Car Pile, where cars, trucks, and earth moving equipment were placed to create an added dimension to the reef area and special hiding places for sea life. This is a perfect site for a night dive, although a first visit during the day is advised, so you know what to expect. Due to the reef proximity to shore, the variety of sea life and display of landscapes makes diving in Curacao a special experience.For an extra fee the marine park next door has an excellent swim with the dolphins program as well.

All of the 341 rooms and suites offer 1 king or two queen beds with air conditioning, table, 2 chairs, color cable TV, direct dial phone, desk with chair, coffee maker, in-room safe, bathroom with shower, tub and hairdryer and terrace, patio or balcony. Families can choose to upgrade to Jr suites or 1 bedroom suites that will accomodate 4 persons. There are also a few 2 bedroom suites that will sleep up to 6 people.
Generally children under 2 years of age stay, play and eat for free yet they still count towards room occupancy rules. Children ages 2-13 pay children's rates and kids age 14 and older are considered adults. Rules and rates can change during high demand spring break times or holiday weeks.

Breezes Curacao offers a comprehensive child care program under the watchful eyes of specially trained staff members. The Kids' Club program in the hotel runs from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Breezes offers nursery care for babies (0 - 23 months) and Camp Breezes children 2 - 7 years and kids 8-12 years.Parents must fill out the necessary enrollment forms before leaving children in the care of the Kids' Club Coordinators. Older children are able to do any of the activities offered adults except for those hosted in the gym, where they must be supervised by an adult. The disco is off limits except for special family parties hosted before regular operating hours (11:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M.). After 9:00 P.M. parents wishing care for their children must hire the services of a baby sitter. This may be done in advance through the guest relations desk. The standard rate is US $7.00 per hour (before midnight) and US $8.00 per hour after midnight.
Teens enjoy their own activities program and even have their own club house where they can hang out and meet new friends under the supervision of the entertainment staff.
