I do know a thing or two about kids and traveling. First, I'm the mother of three teens, one son and two daughters. Secondly, I spent 10 years as a pediatric nurse taking care of sick kids and delivering babies. I became addicted to the internet in 1994 and changed careers. I worked for five years as the Director of Marketing for a major online travel site. My job has taken me around the world, often in the company of my kids.

Journalists have often called on me for travel advice. I've been on TV with CNN, Lifetime, ABC and MSNBC sharing my opinions. I've also been quoted in The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Consumer Reports, Woman's Day, Parents Magazine, Working Woman Magazine, Newsweek and The Washington Post. I have also enjoyed being a guest on many national talk radio programs.
